A Great Place for All: Fragile Circles (21.28)
2021 July 7 (Essay: 21.28 Fragile Circles)
Welcome to column 21.27 and thanks again for reading, subscribing, and sharing. This column is part of my quest for a unified world and country that can become a better (make that .. Great) place for all.
Hello again!
We are 90% driven by our egos and our emotions and in any single moment we can include our satellites .. family and close friends, lovers, co-workers, or fellow-believers of religion, politics, universities, and sports-team enthusiasts. We can imagine that our Earth is a good parallel to our minds with each town being a unique set of lives/beliefs that may align with our peer groups and yet we all revolve around a sun (our existence). In the scheme of our known Universe, our Earth changes at a micro level and its people, traffic, climate, and experiences. With the changes that abound, we need to change with it. We can easily be lied to, deceived because our egos and emotions want to be heard and made to feel important, and our desires and perceptions are often immaterial in a wider view - even though each of us makes a difference.
I just finished a book on disinformation showing how communist regimes of The Soviet Union (and China) refute any religion or anything that limits the focus on communism and the authoritarian leaders. Regimes, organizations, companies, spouses, political parties or families may also want you to revolve around nothing but them - but your ability to create your own reality and future is up to each one of us.
Our brains think in circles and we need to allow knowledge in as we continually spiral. As we cycle through our lives we need to learn to question the actions of others and ensure facts are discussed and debates held as warranted. I have learned to decipher life as it proceeds: who owns the media? and who profits? why do people perceive me in a specific way? others?
What your mind sees or wants to see might not be true. What others see might not be true either. Each one of us (human or animal) contributes to our circles and cycles and we need each other even if in this moment we do not see or feel that.
Importance is relative and yet more than 75% of global food crops are pollinated by animals (coffee, cocoa, almonds). In my opinion, we need each other to be whole as we circle the Earth, even if my ability to pollinate is limited.
Thanks for reading and until next time! Stay tuned, stay healthy, and be loved!
Joyously,
